We have now over 200SKUs, sold in five countries via three distinct channels.
How might we visualize, in an easy way, our sales and merchandise costs data, so we can generate insights on our action plans during the LT teams?

3 ideas submited for this challenge

Solid visualization needs a solid platform - the 32" screen in the LT room is no longer enough. A 70" monitor is now under 2,000.
  • How will this contribute to solving the challenge?
  • Can see the visuals at scale.
  • Who will benefit?
  • LT members
  • Have you seen something similar implemented somewhere else?
  • yes, in my basement

While expensive, these newer tools make sense as we have only one or two users that will use them.
  • How will this contribute to solving the challenge?
  • Right tool for the right job - XLS can do that much
  • Who will benefit?
  • Our analysts and our LT.
  • Have you seen something similar implemented somewhere else?
  • Yes, check the websites for these two products, plenty of good exampls

Right now, we have XLS as the primary platform for downloading data from our shipments system. Moving maybe to Office 14?
  • How will this contribute to solving the challenge?
  • Newer charts, faster technology in Office 14
  • Who will benefit?
  • Our analyst, from a productivity standpoint, and our Lead Team, with nicer charts
  • Have you seen something similar implemented somewhere else?
  • Seen some nice charts in Office 14 from my son
